It all started with an IG dm (or not). We had been in the same space before but we barely paid a lot of attention to each other.

The outing ended and we went back to our separate lives or so I thought.

His name had come up in a few conversations with my friends but I wrongly thought he was a small boy ( blame his baby face for that) so there seemed to be nothing there for me.

One fateful afternoon, a year after the outing his message popped up on instagram. I was not expecting it so imagine my shock. We got talking and I suggested moving the conversation to WhatsApp to make the flow easier.

We found out we had several things in common, our conversation flowed very freely ( something I really enjoyed). And just 2 months later, he asked to go out with me and It just felt right saying yes immediately.

Mind you uncle ghosted me right after, he said he was shocked that my answer was immediate. 3 years and a few months down the line, several cheesy moments and beautiful journeys later he planned the perfect proposal and here we are about to embark on the biggest journey of them all.
